Penn Pens Post War Post
Sean Penn writes, to my amazement, a lucid, entertaining, and sober account of his post war trip back to Baghdad in the San Francisco Gate. He's not going to be on W's committee to reelect the President, but it's nice to see that he's got open eyes.
This portrait of his short trip is also very much like I would anticipate Baghdad to be like in my imagination. I can now emotionally allow myself to watch his movies without thinking "Dickhead" the whole time. Now if only someone would send the Dixie Chicks and Johnny Depp over there.
